REGLAMENTO CORTOMETRAJES / SHORT FILM REGULATIONS

1) Condiciones generales / Terms

La 8ª edición del Festival GASTRO CINEMA se desarrollará del 13 al 19 de noviembre de 2026 y podrán participar realizadores de todo el mundo.

The 8th edition of the GASTRO CINEMA Film Festival will be from 13 to 19 May 2026,  and will be open to filmmakers worldwide.

2) Reglas / Rules

Pueden participar cortometrajes de ficción, animación y documental con una duración máxima de 30 minutos.

Fiction, animation and documentary short films with a maximum duration of 30 minutes can participate.

Los cortometrajes participantes deberán mantener una vinculación clara con la gastronomía, ya sea como tema principal o como parte relevante del contexto en el que se desarrolla la historia.

Esta vinculación podrá reflejarse, entre otros aspectos, en la presencia de alimentos, bebidas, cocina, restauración, cultura gastronómica o en el desarrollo de la acción en espacios o situaciones relacionados con la gastronomía, como una comida, un restaurante,  una celebración, etc.

Participating short films must have a clear connection to gastronomy, either as the main theme or as a relevant part of the context in which the story unfolds.

This connection may be reflected, among other aspects, in the presence of food, beverages, cooking, restaurants, gastronomic culture, or in the development of the action in spaces or situations related to gastronomy, such as a meal, a restaurant, a celebration, etc.

Los trabajos deben haber terminado su producción después del 1 de enero de 2024.

Entries must have completed production after January 1, 2024.

3) Inscripción / Registration

La inscripción se realizará mediante el envío del corto online a través de las plataformas Movibeta  y Festhome finalizará el 30 de septiembre de 2026. Acceder a Movibeta   Acceder a Festhome

 4) Selección / Selection

Los cortometrajes SELECCIONADOS deberán enviar antes del 1 de noviembre de  2026 una copia del cortometraje en archivo mov o mp4. Tamaño: 1920 x 1080 por a gastrocinemafestival@gmail.com

The films selected will forward a copy of the film before November 1, 2026 copy Mov or Mp4 file. Size: 1920 x 1080 to gastrocinemafestival@gmail.com

Todos aquellos cortometrajes cuyos diálogos originales no estén en español deberán estar subtitulados en español.

All those films whose original dialogues are not in spanish must be subtitled in spanish.

La participación en GASTRO CINEMA implica la cesión de los derechos de difusión de las imágenes enviadas dentro del ámbito del propio Festival, que quedarán archivadas por la organización si se considera oportuno y de mutuo acuerdo con los propietarios de la obra.

Participation in GASTRO CINEMA implies the assignment of the broadcasting rights of the images sent within the scope of the Festival itself, which they will be archived by the organization if deemed appropriate and by mutual agreement with the owners of the work.

La organización acordará la fecha y orden de exhibición de las películas, comprometiéndose a proyectarlas solamente dentro de GASTRO CINEMA.

The Organization shall agree the date and order of films screened, only committing to project them into GASTRO CINEMA.

El Jurado Oficial, compuesto por profesionales del medio cinematográfico, será el encargado de otorgar los premios.

The official jury composed of professionals from the film, will be in charge of awarding the prizes.

5) Premios / Awards

Mejor cortometraje GASTRO CINEMA. – 500€ / Best National GASTRO CINEMA Short Film –€ 500

Mejor Director / Best Director.

En el caso de obtener alguno de los premios otorgados por GASTRO CINEMA, los premiados incluirán una referencia escrita de dicho premio al inicio de todas las copias de la película que distribuyan para su exhibición en salas comerciales y/o en certámenes audiovisuales, así como en todo el material informativo. Dicha referencia consistirá en un texto con el tipo de premio otorgado, acompañado invariablemente de la imagen corporativa (logotipo y nombre) del Festival de Cine de Alicante, los cuales les serán facilitados por la organización del mismo.

In the case of obtaining any of the prizes awarded by GASTRO CINEMA will include a written record of the award at the beginning of all copies of the film distributed for commercial theatrical exhibition and / or audiovisual events, as well as throughout the information material. This will consist of a text reference to the type of award, accompanied invariably corporate image (logo and name) of the Alicante Film Festival, which will be provided by the same organization.

6) Entrega de premios / Awards Ceremony

Las decisiones del Jurado Oficial, serán inapelables. Los premios otorgados,  se entregarán en la gala de clausura el 19 de noviembre de 2026 en el Teatro Arniches.

The decisions of the Official Jury will be unappealable. The prizes awarded will be presented at the closing gala on November 19, 2026 in Arniches Theatre.

La inscripción implica la aceptación de todas las bases.

Registration implies acceptance of the rules.
